🗓️ Date : January 24–28, 2017
📍 Event : Trials Elite Workshop
For the second year in a row, Ubisoft RedLynx organized a Trials Elite Workshop at their Helsinki studio. This exclusive event gathered several key community members for a week-long series of activities, feedback sessions, and direct collaboration with the development team.
This 2017 edition brought together the following participants:
PL Squrd
InquisitorFIN
Nova Darkstorm
Braders77UK
Venomz
TheBlazeJP
Sandy Sandholm
Professor FatShady
Psycad
Jack P (Rooster Teeth)
The visit began with a casual karting session on the first evening, before shifting focus to the core objective: community-driven workshops.
Some of the workshops included exercises such as:
Listing three positive and three negative aspects of Trials Fusion
Providing feedback on the Trials franchise in general
These sessions provided a unique opportunity for direct, unfiltered discussion with the developers on key issues and aspects of the game, including passionate debates—such as the (controversial) mention of the TKO Panda bike as a positive feature by one attendee.
Participants also had the chance to showcase aspects of the ninja scene, such as through the track French Trip, and discuss the importance of this subgenre within the community.
The workshop was not only a professional engagement but also a social one—allowing attendees to meet in person for the first time, forge friendships, and share memorable moments, including a karaoke night.
A stream featuring some challenges by Blaze was also broadcast during the event, highlighting community engagement and gameplay.
This second edition of the Trials Elite Workshop once again demonstrated Ubisoft RedLynx’s ongoing commitment to integrating the core community into the evolution of the Trials series.
