🗓️ Date : October 3, 2025
🎮 Game : Trials Rising
📍 Event : Community contest
On this day, streamer D4WS7N, a former professional Rocket League player, organized a Trials Rising community tournament.
The idea for the event came to him after earning all trophies in Trials Rising, as trophy-hunting is one of his main streaming activities. Despite being put together rather hastily — he had less than a week to find skilled and motivated riders — the tournament managed to draw a solid audience on his stream.
Tournament Format
The event was divided into two main parts :
Part 1 – Multiplayer Showdown
Standard elimination-style multiplayer races.
D4WS7N acted as a spectator and commentator.
Participants were viewers from his community, meaning the skill level was relatively modest compared to the top-tier competitive scene.
Part 2 – The Main Duel
The second segment featured a high-level 1v1 showdown between the two best French speedrunners at the time :
Sly GT4 vs Koosmo.
Format
6 tracks in total (both career and custom-made).
Each track played for 10 minutes.
The player achieving the best time on a track earns 1 point.
The player with the most points at the end wins the tournament.
Tracks featured
Inferno V (solo)
Ever, Everer, Everest (solo)
Baikonur Base (solo)
Yellow Wood (Ninja Level 2 by Haarmes)
Wheels of Steel (solo)
sing.ular/ Country (Ninja Level 3/4 by ManatheRama)
Results
- Sly GT4 – 5 points
- Koosmo – 1 point
Sly GT4 took first place and a €200 prize, while Koosmo earned €150, including a €50 performance bonus for securing a point against GT4 — at the time, widely recognized as the best Trials rider in the world.
Despite its improvised nature, the event was praised for its entertainment value and for bringing competitive Trials Rising action back into the spotlight, even if only for a night.
