RTC, short for Rowplowplow Team Contest, was a quirky and community-driven speedrunning tournament on Trials Fusion, exclusively held on Xbox One. Created by French community member SheyRoplowplow, the name of the contest combines “plow” (check the glossary if you want to know more) and “roploplo,” a slang French word meaning « boobs »… in classic irreverent Trials humor.

This was the first edition of the RTC and focused on fun, team spirit, and casual competition over pure skill. Teams of 3 players each competed asynchronously, battling it out on 4 custom-made tracks created specifically for the event by community legends.

All four tracks ranged from medium to hard difficulty, allowing a broad mix of player levels to participate.

Team Competition Format

• Each team had 2 weeks to set their best times on all four tracks.

• Final rankings were calculated by summing the total time + number of faults from all three riders across all tracks.

• Faults took precedence over time, following standard Trials leaderboard logic.

Despite the lack of in-game multiplayer, the tournament was a success thanks to meticulous organization and a strong community vibe. Team names leaned into the “plow” theme, with a heavy dose of humor.

• Les Plowfessionnals edged out Les PlowRunner by a mere 0.028 seconds, both with zero faults, making it one of the tightest Trials team results ever recorded.

• Les fon-Dément-D-chu actually posted the fastest raw time, but a single fault cost them first place.

Legacy & Community Impact

• This event became a cult classic in the French Trials scene, remembered for its humor, community spirit, and creative competition.

• Despite some organizational hiccups and light participation drop-off, the event inspired future team-based contests and was praised for pushing community interaction on a console that lacked traditional multiplayer modes at launch.

• Creators CSCSCS2, KATIN, Maccorenzy, and THDTE were praised not only for building the tracks, but also for actively participating as competitors.
