Trials Rising at ZLAN 2024
Trials Rising was again one of the 11 main titles, delivering the usual mix of spectacle and chaos (fails, crashes, restarts) that made it a fan-favorite since ZLAN 2021.
Unlike 2021, ZeratoR did not commission new tracks from the Trials France builders. Instead, he reused some of the iconic tracks from earlier editions, alongside selected solo maps.
Custom Tracks Reused from ZLAN 2021 :
ZLAN Fisandohana – Shadows of TC (Katin, Kronenb)
ZLAN Underscore – TEKILAA X (Tekila, Ramchandra)
Solo Tracks Selected :
MX and the City
El Tomate
Frozen Fjord
Medieval Flair
Black Gold
Temple of Trials
Some moments from the Trials competition went viral on TikTok, with players such as Sakor making a strong impression.
Impact on Trials Rising
The game was described in the media as a “remarkable return” in 2024.
Trials Rising gained renewed popularity after the event, boosted by streamers like DamDam, Étoiles, Bren.
Competition Format in Trials
Trio format, with 3 teams racing simultaneously.
Players competed for best times across multiple runs.
As always, the unpredictability of crashes and restarts added to the show.
