On January 8, 2013, the French player aBzxMaGiiK published the very fourth episode of his video series « Ninja Promo! » on YouTube. The project would go on to become one of the earliest and most iconic showcases of the Ninja Trials scene during the Trials Evolution era.
Known for his high skill level and relative notoriety on YouTube (within the Trials community), aBzxMaGiiK used his platform to shine a spotlight on some of the most talented ninja players and builders of the time. The videos offered both entertainment and visibility to creators whose tracks were often known only within small elite circles.
The Ninja Promo! series helped cement the early culture of ninja Trials — both as a community-driven subgenre and as a technical challenge — by documenting high-skill gameplay and mapmaking from players like:
