The first confirmed level 8 pass that ignited a legendary rivalry between GT4 and RJBurger for dominance over the elite ninja scene.
Built by slikscythez, Wraith was released in mid-2017 and quickly became one of the most feared and respected ninja tracks of its era. Around that time, two top-tier players—GT4 and RJBurger—began grinding the track intensely, both livestreaming their attempts. This period is now widely remembered as a golden era for Trials Fusion ninja, with viewers captivated by the ongoing back-and-forth competition between the two giants.
Ultimately, GT4 was the first to pass Wraith, making it not only his first level 8 clear but also the first time a player personally declared a track as level 8 after passing it. The track was full brake/wheel balance from start to finish, a signature of slikscythez’s style, and it stretched the boundaries of what was thought possible.
Just one month later, RJBurger followed with his own successful run, cementing both him and GT4 as the undisputed top players of the level 8 era — especially since, at that point, no one else had even passed Vicious.
Their dueling performances on Wraith set a new bar for elite competition and changed how the community viewed ultra-difficult ninja tracks, as well as the consistency and dedication required to master them.
