First ninja level 8 0 fault run

Iconic

🗓️ Date : August 22, 2024
🎮 Game : Trials Fusion
📍 Context : Iconic run

On this day, French rider Preda, one of the strongest ninja specialists and long-time partner of GT4, achieved a historic feat: the first ever 0-fault completion of a Ninja Level 8 track, King Pin 3, created by Cavemandave247. This performance remains unmatched to this day.

The Run

Preda described the challenge as one of the hardest he had ever undertaken in any game. The run took around 10 hours of attempts, and while the final completion was not flawless in terms of speed, the 0-fault objective was met — a near impossible task given the track’s length and punishing consistency requirements.

  • Checkpoint 2 was highlighted as the most difficult obstacle, repeatedly forcing resets and described as “a mental torture.”

  • Checkpoints 3 and 4 were more manageable, though maintaining perfect precision across them remained demanding.

  • Preda also failed four times on the final checkpoint due to its glitchy start, adding to the psychological toll of the grind.

Difficulty Context

  • King Pin 3 is rated Ninja Level 8, making Preda’s run the first 0-fault on a level 8 track in Trials history.

  • Despite this, Preda argued that not all ninja level 7 tracks are easier. In his view, Vicious (a level 7) is slightly harder to 0-fault than King Pin 3.

  • Other extreme examples, such as Infinity, may be technically possible to 0-fault, but many level 7 tracks still present greater difficulty overall.

Legacy

Preda stated that this run was a personal goal rather than a stepping stone, and that he had no plans to push for similar completions in the future. He described the grind as “painful and depressing” but ultimately fulfilling, proving his skill and determination to himself and to the community.

This landmark achievement solidified Preda’s reputation as one of the greatest ninja riders in the Trials series, alongside GT4, and remains a defining moment in the history of community track mastery.
