🎮 Game : Trials Rising
First Completions
The very first players to beat Black Belt were gt4 and blubbi.
gt4’s upload of the run became a landmark moment, reaching 170k+ views on YouTube — an enormous spike compared to Trials Fusion, where even the biggest achievements rarely exceeded 30k views.
This milestone immediately set the tone for Trials Rising’s ninja scene: a fresh start with massive hype and visibility.
Early Records
Only a few days later, RJBurger managed a 3-fault run on Black Belt.
This performance held as the best known run for more than a year, demonstrating how punishingly difficult the track was for even the top players.
Slowed Progress
Unlike Fusion, where breakthroughs were more frequent, progress on Black Belt slowed dramatically.
Roughly one year later, Scottah achieved the first 0-fault run, after a bounty was placed on the track.
The bounty brought back several top-level players temporarily, but many gave up after brief attempts, highlighting both the extreme difficulty and the declining motivation at the time.
Current Status (2025)
As of today, multiple 0-fault runs on Black Belt exist.
However, the track remains one of the most iconic challenges in the history of Trials, remembered as the benchmark that defined the early Rising ninja era.
